About me

Dr. Genoveva Coyle is well known in the Sparta community for her compassionate care and individualized, personal attention she gives to her patients. She has ample experience in internal medicine, geriatric care, urgent care, and obstetrics. Dr. Coyle graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Bucharest in 1991. She followed her training with a fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was Board Certified by the Roumanian Board of OB-GYN. After her training, Dr. Coyle worked as an OB-GYN specialist for the next five years with the private practice of Marie Stopes in Romania. There, she dedicated her time to caring for young women and delivering healthy babies.

Dr. Coyle’s career took a turn and changed courses after she came to the United States to visit friends and when she met her future husband. She completed her medical training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, NY, where she decided to follow the path of Internal Medicine and primary care. Dr. Coyle graduated in 2001 and was widely recognized for her professionalism and dedication as a Clinician by the Department of Internal Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

For the next six years, Dr. Coyle worked with MedCare in East Rutherford N.J., where, with the guidance of Dr. John Scolamiero and his specialist team, she gained ample experience in Urgent Care. During that time, she became very knowledgeable about a variety of medical diseases and worked with patients of all ages. In 2008, Dr. Coyle relocated to West Milford, NJ to be able to spend more time with her family. For the next three years, she worked with Dr. Platt and was introduced to cardiology care and the geriatric patient population as well as more specific disorders to this area, such as Lyme Disease.

Dr. Coyle decided to open her own practice, where she provides you with individualized medical care for your entire family. Her approach is European-style medicine with meeting the patient in the doctor’s office and have a comfortable interview and detailed discussion of the medical problems and options of treatment. Prevention and optimizing your body’s capacity to heal is a priority for Dr. Coyle and her team. Your condition will be approached as an emergency and Dr. Coyle places great emphasis on restoring your own capacity to heal. Dr. Coyle is affiliated with Chilton Memorial Hospital. Should you require in-patient services, Dr. Coyle and her highly specialized team will be more than happy to provide you with attentive care.
